For those living in and around the Memorial Villages, the season offers plenty to experience close to home—from art and nature to local markets, wellness activities, and evenings spent outdoors. With Memorial Park and the Houston Arboretum nearby, along with dining, shopping, and entertainment throughout the surrounding area, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the season without going far.
Here are a few fall events and experiences to add to your calendar this season.
Memorial Park offers more than one seasonal event. Throughout the fall, the park's calendar includes Wellness Walks, Pilates in the Park, outdoor movies, bird surveys, and other opportunities to spend time outside.
That range of programming is part of what makes the area so appealing: an afternoon at the park can be as active or relaxed as you want it to be.
Memorial Villages Farmers Market
Saturdays | 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Some of the best parts of fall aren't tied to a major event. The Memorial Villages Farmers Market offers a more relaxed Saturday morning experience in Hunters Creek Village, with local vendors and a neighborhood atmosphere.
Sip & Stroll at the Houston Arboretum
November 6, 2026 | 5:30–7:30 p.m.
As fall moves into November, the Houston Arboretum offers an evening version of the season with Sip & Stroll. Guests can enjoy a beverage while walking the Arboretum's trails and taking in the surrounding nature.
October | Select Friday & Saturday evenings
Fall evenings are made for lingering a little longer. Throughout October, CITYCENTRE’s Plaza hosts live music on select Friday and Saturday evenings, creating an easy way to spend the evening close to home. Pair the music with dinner, cocktails, or a little shopping for a relaxed night out in Memorial.
